Providence Restaurant Weeks Lunch & Dinner Menus

Red Stripe restaurant, located at 465 Angell Street in Providence, is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming Providence Restaurant Weeks, July 7th through July 20th.  A three-course prix fixe menu will be offered for lunch for $16.95 per person and for dinner for $29.95 per person.  For more information or to make a reservation, visit www.redstriperestaurants.com

Red Stripe’s Restaurant Week lunch menu begins with a choice of Tomato Soup with dill crème fraiche; ‘Chef’s Whim’ Street Tacos; Caesar Salad with artisan croutons, shaved Parmesan, and Caesar dressing; a Mixed Green Salad with tomato, cucumber, red onion, and shallot-Dijon vinaigrette; or Skillet Meatballs: house made meatballs with marinara, fried capers, and shaved Parmesan.

Lunch entrée selections include Red Stripe Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup made with Bel Paese, prosciutto, poached pear, and basil pesto; Veggie Goddess with mozzarella cheese, watercress, avocado, tomato, cucumber, pickled fennel, and green goddess aioli; the Red Stripe Burger topped with Havarti, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and red onion; or a lunch portion of any of Red Stripe’s 10 varieties of Mussels with frites and garlic aioli.

Dessert options include Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate: chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, shaved chocolate, whipped cream or New York Style Cheesecake with seasonal accompaniments.

Dinner begins with a choice of Tomato Soup with dill crème fraiche; Caesar Salad with artisan croutons, shaved Parmesan, and Caesar dressing; a Mixed Green Salad with tomato, cucumber, red onion, and shallot Dijon vinaigrette; Skillet Meatballs: house made meatballs with marinara, fried capers, and shaved Parmesan; or Buffalo Cauliflower: tempura cauliflower with blue cheese and house-made hot sauce.

Dinner entrées offer a choice of Steak Frites: grilled Hanger Steak & house frites, greens & choice of Gorgonzola butter or Bordelaise butter; Atlantic Salmon with spiced carrot puree, Israeli couscous, and dill crème fraiche; Chicken Parmesan: a breaded 8oz boneless chicken breast, a mountain of linguini, house-made marinara, mozzarella, and Parmesan; Rigatoni with artichokes, spinach, and cherry tomatoes in a pesto cream sauce; or any variety of Red Stripe Mussels with frites and garlic aioli
